iOS13.5,iPadOS13.5が公開！
2020年5月21日 iOS13.5が公開されました。
iOS 13.5では、マスク着用時にFace ID搭載デバイスのパスコードフィールドに素早くアクセスできるようになります。また、公的保健機関から提供される新型コロナウイルス感染症（COVID-19）接触追跡Appに対応する接触通知APIが導入されます。このアップデートにはさらに、グループFaceTime通話のビデオタイルを自動的に目立たせる機能を制御できるオプションが追加され、バグ修正およびその他の改善も含まれています。

今回のiOS13.5のアップデートでは、以前ニュース報道されたGoogleとAppleとのコロナウィルス感染者情報との接触通知APIが組み込まれています。
さすがApple仕事が早いですね。
FaceID(iOSの顔認証）での更新内容に関しては、マスクをしていると絶対にFaceIDは通りません。
この場合には、FaceIDの認証失敗後、画面をスワイプしてパスコードを入力する流れで非常に面倒くさいものでしたが、
マスクをつけていた場合にはFaceID認証の段階が飛び、即画面スワイプ後パスコード入力になりました。
マスクをしているときのFaceIDの認証失敗を待たなくて良くなったわけです。
小さいアップデートとしてはグループFaceTime通話でビデオタイルサイズが変更されないようになりました。
テレワークでビデオ通話が使われるようになったことによるアップデートです。

iOS13.5では新型コロナウイルス感染症接触通知API」が実装されています。
GoogleとAppleが提携して話題になった機能です。
アプリをダウンロードしないでも使えるようになり、Bluetoothを使って動作します。
同時に曝露通知(ばくろつうち）サーバのリファレンスがGitHubでオープンソースで公開されました。
